PXE Multiple Reboots

by Denny Cannon last modified 2006-01-16 09:03

This will show you how to hold a machine in the PXE holding queue.

In order to survive multiple reboots in DOS, LANDesk allows you to configure an OSD job for this.  It uses the PXEQUEUE command.  To do use this edit the LANDesk OSD ini script file with the following commands:

PXEQUEUE=Pending

REMEXECxx=reboot

REMEXECxx=DOS

REMEXECxx=do something else

REMEXECxx=do another thing

PXEQUEUE=OUT
REMEXECxx=image drive

REMEXECxx=reboot

REMEXECxx=WIN TIMEOUT=1800
